The Amazing CEREC Crown!!

The CEREC Crown is sturdy and tends to resist abrasion. Rather than having two appointments and waiting two weeks or longer, you can walk into Today’s Dentist for your crown appointment and leave with your new crown the same day.

CEREC stands for Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramics. The doctors at Today’s Dentist will use a computer-aided design (CAD) and manufacturing (CAM) to capture digital images of your tooth and jaw, design the crown, and fabricate the crown for delivery – all right here in the office

Your friends might not ever realize that your tooth has a crown. Because it lacks a metal core, a CEREC crown tends to look more natural and more closely resemble the surrounding teeth.

Advanced digital technology using the iTero 5D Scanner

The iTero Element intraoral scanner has propelled Today’s Dentist into the most advanced technology available for our patients by elevating clinical precision. The iTero time lapse compares records over time, visualizing tooth wear, movements and gingival changes to track oral changes and to help our doctor’s diagnose treatment that will save you time, pain and money in the future.

Certified Invisalign Providers.

Invisalign has many benefits, with the most popular being a straighter and brighter smile

Did you know that 65% of all patient’s teeth are not in occlusion? Malocclusion, also called “Bad Bite,” meaning the upper and lower teeth don’t align when you close your mouth. In turn, this causes trauma each time you bite down resulting in recession, cracked teeth, chipped teeth and tooth loss

Malocclusion, left untreated, can lead to decayed teeth and even tooth loss and sensitivity. TMJ issues are also as a result of malocclusion

Invisalign for straighter teeth, coupled with the restorative advantages provides Today’s Dentist patients with a beautiful and healthy smile

Dental Implants can give you back your smile. Millions of Americans suffer tooth loss mostly due to tooth decay, periodontal disease or injury. In the past, the only options for replacement of these missing teeth were bridges or dentures/partials, but at Today’s Dentist you now have the options of dental implants.

Dental implants are replacements for tooth roots. Implants look and feel like your own teeth, and because they are designed to fuse with the bone, they are permanent. Most patient’s who receive dental implants say there is very little discomfort and less pain than the actual tooth extraction.

Dental implants require the same home care as real teeth, including, brushing, flossing, rinsing with an antibacterial mouthwash, and regular dental check ups.

Treatment of Periodontal Disease

– Don’t Wait Till it Hurts

65% of all adults have some degree of periodontal disease. Periodontal disease is an infection that affects the tissues and bone that support your teeth. It is also called gum disease

Signs of Gum Warning Disease

  • Gums that bleed when you brush or floss
  • Gums that are red, swollen, puffy or tender
  • Gums that no longer tightly hug your teeth
  • Gums that no longer tightly hug your teeth
  • Bad breath or a bad taste in your mouth
  • Increased spaces between your teeth

Here at Today’s our professional hygiene team will use an instrument called a periodontal probe to gently measure the depth of the pockets around your teeth. Healthy teeth will shoe a depth of 3 mm or less. The more severe the disease, the deeper the pocket which means more advances loss of bone attachment. According to the American Dental Association, this allows the bacteria to have more room to grow and cause serious damage to your gums and bone, loosening your teeth

Our #1 goal is ensure our patients have a healthy and beautiful smile for your entire life.
